The Hands On Training Package teaches
you and your dog how to successfully execute the following commands
on-leash and helps you build a solid foundation for advanced training
later. We will work with you and your dog together
to train your dog in sophisticated hand and voice command and answer
all your questions as we progress together in the training. The most common
problems we see include jumping up, barking, digging, and pulling on lead,
and are solved during the course of this intensive and thorough training
regimen. We will also help you with all other common and uncommon issues you've experienced, including separation anxiety and nutritional consultation.
You will meet with Steve Walter once per week and we will train your dog
together. You will learn every technique and its application in a private
setting. Steve will come to your home or other designated area chosen by you.

Hands Off
The Hands Off program is designed for those who want a well-trained dog, but simply don't have the time to participate in weekly training and homework. We will come to your home and pick up your dog for his or her training. After your dog has completed the series of training lessons, you meet with us for 30 minutes or so to cover what was taught during the lessons and you will see the results of your prized pet's hard work.
The Three 1-Hour Lesson Hands Off Package is a great way to deal with leash pullers and on-leash aggression.

Doggie Boot Camp
Doggie Boot Camp is our most popular and successful program. In Doggie Boot Camp, our dog trainer will teach your dog at our location. The majority of training is done on-leash. At the end of your dog's stay, he or she will know sit, stay, come, heel, down, off, leave it, come around, go to your bed, and free. Your dog will follow all these commands during distractions and without food bribes. All commands taught are reinforced by trained staff members who understand the system and are "In the Loop" with each dog. When in heel your dog will happily pay attention to which directions you choose to walk and stay with you. All corrections are done sparingly and copious amounts of praise and love will be used to reinforce wanted behavior. A dog must be at least three months old to start this phase of training.
We get calls all the time from people who said their dog had "failed" dog obedience training. The problem usually is not the dog but what the other dog obedience school failed to successfully teach the owner. This is a shame and a waste of your money and time.
A good trainer understands that telling someone to "do this" is not good enough. Many people today simply do not have the time or the energy to meet every week with a private trainer and to put in daily practice. We know that one on one training with you and your dog is the ONLY way to achieve a lasting result that will enrich both you and your dog's lives.
